BIB Technologies (Business-in-a-Box), a pioneer in modular electric vehicle storefronts, announced today the debut of the Los Angeles Auto Show’s first-ever electric "open bar on wheels" during AutoMobility LA. Developed in partnership with iconic West Hollywood staple Pink Dot Market & Grocery Store, hospitality leader Levy, ready-to-drink cocktail house BTL SVC, and premium hydration brand One Water, the turnkey zero-emission activation is welcoming attendees in the South Hall’s Kentia Exhibit, popularly known as "The Underground".  

The mobile showcase combines sustainable automotive innovation with autonomous food-and-beverage distribution. Operating on BIB Technologies' proprietary AUTOMATO smart locker platform, the custom Pink Dot electric vehicle provides a scan-to-dispense, contactless retail experience directly inside the Los Angeles Convention Center. Visitors simply scan a QR code using their smartphone to unlock temperature-controlled compartments stocking pre-batched craft cocktails by BTL SVC and crisp bottled hydration from One Water.  

In addition to the AUTOMATO locker unit, the company is showcasing its versatile FRO mobile platform alongside partner exhibits. Highlighting the activation’s dynamic consumer appeal, combat sports icon and former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson made a special appearance as an official brand ambassador, greeting fans and experiencing the future of mobile retail firsthand.

Activation Highlights

Automated Convenience: Attendees avoid concession queues by scanning on-door QR codes to instantly access chilled beverages from secure smart lockers.  

Craft & Hydration Curation: Curated offerings feature hand-crafted cocktails from BTL SVC alongside sustainably packaged hydration from One Water.  

Zero-Emission Indoor Deployment: Built on compact, fully electric commercial platforms, BIB’s modular vehicles operate quietly and cleanly indoors without carbon emissions.  

Full-Stack SaaS Integration: The vehicle connects directly to cloud point-of-sale systems and digital inventory tracking right from the cab, providing real-time operational transparency.  

The mobile storefront will remain active throughout the public run of the Los Angeles Auto Show through the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Guests and industry professionals visiting "The Underground" in Kentia Hall are invited to meet the BIB Technologies and FRO teams, explore the technology, and test the contactless grab-and-go experience.
